As a Registered Psychologist with APHRA, Anisha has a breadth of experiences having been placed in community, outpatient and school settings. After graduating from Deakin University, Anisha worked at Ballarat Adolescent and Adult Psychiatric Services and served people struggling with severe trauma and mental health conditions including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Schizophrenia, Persistent Depressive Disorder, attachment and interpersonal difficulties and eating disorders such as Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder. Afterwards, Anisha advanced her clinical skills and completed a postgraduate degree at Cairnmillar Institute to better understand theory and therapeutic approaches in her practice.
Working alongside you, Anisha aims to help you refocus your life with evidence-based intervention strategies, self-compassion and resilience. Raised in India before moving to Australia in 2003, Anisha’s awareness of the challenges of cultural diversity allows her to listen to what is not only spoken but what is often unsaid. Her intuitive nature and calming presence give you space to authentically share your experiences in the safe and confidential sanctuary of her Belmont office.
Anisha recognises everyone’s experience is unique, which is why she tailors her treatment approaches to your needs and goals. Lively, gentle and compassionate, Anisha aims to help you make positive and lasting changes in your life.
Anisha practices a variety of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy.

Telehealth and In-person Therapy SessionsIt is kindly required that all visitors have an appointment arranged prior to attending the clinic.
See a psychologist privately by simply calling to make an appointment. If you choose this route, you may be eligible for private health rebates. Private health rebates vary between health insurers and depend on the level of cover you have arranged with your health insurer.
You can also consult with your GP to see if you are eligible for rebated sessions under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Scheme. If eligible, you can claim the following per consultation for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. If you have questions about referrals please send us a message using the contact form below.
As of June 1 2022, the following fees apply:
- Single session $180 per 50-minute consultation
- After-hours session (before 9am and after 5pm and weekends) $200 per 50-minute consultation
Sessions may be eligible for Medicare/Health fund rebates. Please note that we do not bulk bill.
